Pterodactyl: A unique game panel allowing you to host your Minecraft servers, Discord bots, Node/Bun servers and more right from the comfort of your web browser.
Themes allow you to make Pterodactyl truly yours, but not everyone can pay for a feature-rich theme. This is where free themes come in, giving you freedom in both licensing and spending habits (please be financially responsible though).
Darkenate
Even though I’ve mentioned this theme before, it’s still worth putting it in this list. Darkenate is an open-source (and MIT-licensed) theme made with an for the Blueprint extension framework and compatible with Blueprint extensions.
This theme has a consistent color palette and rounds out elements a bit, resulting in a cleaner user interface than you would get with stock Pterodactyl.
Download Darkenate for free on GitHub.
NookTheme
Open-source Pterodactyl theme made to look simple, modern and clean which has been maintained since 2022.
Thanks to a custom sidebar, dark color scheme and good-looking user interface you’ll love what this theme brings.
Download NookTheme for free on GitHub or BuiltByBit.
Recolor
The first 3rd party extension ever made with and for the Blueprint framework. With an awesome-looking color scheme and a smooth installation, you’ll definitely love this theme.
Just like Darkenate and NookTheme, Recolor is open-source. This allows you to see how everything works, what everything does and implement new features more easily.
Download Recolor for free on GitHub, sourceXchange or BuiltByBit.
There aren’t many free themes around for Pterodactyl, which makes it especially hard to search specifically for good ones. This list had a couple hidden gems you might have missed. I hope this helped you choose which free Pterodactyl theme is best for you.
